Created in 1988 on the Thiverval-Grignon campus, the UMR GMPA is made up of a multidisciplinary group of nearly 50 permanent staff (molecular biology, microbiology and microbiological engineering, process engineering, physics and physico-chemistry, sensory analysis, mathematics and cognitive sciences).

 

Mia-Paris

(AgroParisTech, Inra)

The Mia-Paris, AgroParisTech, INRA, UMR Mia-Paris, brings together statisticians and computer scientists specialized in statistical and computer modelling and learning for biology, ecology, the environment, agronomy and agri-food.

CNRGH : Centre National de Recherche en Génomique Humaine

The CNRGH is the French national research centre that responds to scientific questions requiring high throughput sequencing and genotyping needs through the development and implementation of innovative and integrated technologies.

Based in Saclay, the List is one of the three technological research institutes of CEA Tech, the CEA's technological research department. Dedicated to intelligent digital systems, its mission is to carry out technological developments of excellence on behalf of industrial partners in order to create value.

 

NeuroSpin

NeuroSpin is a research centre for innovation in brain imaging. The work carried out is in line with the two axes of biomedical imaging and diagnostic and therapeutic innovation.

L2S : Laboratoire des Signaux et Systèmes

The Signals and Systems Laboratory's areas of interest cover several scientific disciplines: the fundamental aspects and fields of application of mathematics that have led to the development of signal processing, information theory, cryptology and digital technology; physics that develops theories using mathematical tools to describe and predict the evolution of systems and is at the origin of electromagnetic theory.

 

MICS : Laboratoire Mathématiques et Informatique pour la Complexité et les Systèmes 

Created in the early 2000s, MICS brings together CentraleSupélec's research in Mathematics and Computer Science. At the heart of digital technologies, its themes concern the modelling, simulation, analysis and optimization of complex systems, whether they come from the industrial world, living organisms, markets or information and networks.

The Mixed Physics Unit, created in January 1995, is a joint laboratory of the CNRS and Thales. The Unit has been associated with the University of Paris-Sud since January 2000.

 

IDRIS : Institut du Développement et des Ressources en Informatique Scientifique

The IDRIS (Institute for Development and Resources in Scientific Informatics), founded in November 1993, is a centre of excellence in intensive numerical computing for research units dependent on extreme computing, both on application aspects (large-scale simulations) and on those related to research related to high-performance computing.

 

INS2I : Institut des sciences de l'information et de leurs interactions 

The INS2I is based on fifty-nine units in the fields of computer science, signal and image processing, automation and robotics. Our units have been built in close partnership with universities and grandes écoles autonomes.

 

LIMSI : Laboratoire d'Informatique pour la Mécanique et les Sciences de l'Ingénieur 

LIMSI is a multidisciplinary computer science research laboratory that brings together researchers and teacher-researchers from the engineering and information sciences, as well as from the life sciences and the human and social sciences. The scientific field covered is that of the sciences and technologies of the language in the broad sense, human-machine interaction, virtual and augmented reality as well as fluid and transfer mechanics, and energy.

 

LSCE : Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement

Since January 2015, the LSCE has been organized into three scientific themes: Archives and Tracers; Biogeochemical Cycles and Transfers to the Environment; Climate and Cycles - Modelling their variability and interactions.

MaIAGE : Unité de recherche "Mathématiques et Informatique Appliquées du Génome à l'Environnement" 

The MaIAGE research unit brings together mathematicians, computer scientists, bioinformaticians and biologists around questions of biology and agro-ecology, ranging from the molecular scale to the landscape scale, including the study of the individual, populations or ecosystems.

DAVID : Laboratoire Données et Algorithmes pour une Ville Intelligente et Durable

The laboratory's scientific project is based on the expertise and interaction of three research teams covering research areas ranging from data to algorithms: the ADAM (Ambient Data Access and Mining) team; the ALMOST (Algorithms and Stochastic Models) team; the PETRUS (Personnal and Trusted Cloud) team. The laboratory's scientific project focuses on the digital city, its applications and consequences.

CERDI : Centre d’Études et de Recherche en Droit de l’Immatériel 

Le Centre d’Études et de Recherche en Droit de l’Immatériel est né en 1988 autour de l’idée que le droit, et en particulier celui des propriétés intellectuelles, doit prendre en compte l’évolution de l’informatique et des nouvelles techniques. Son champ d’action s’est ensuite largement ouvert par la présence de chercheurs et doctorants investis dans tous les domaines en rapport avec l’immatériel et le numérique : responsabilité des intermédiaires techniques, vie privée, e-commerce, droit de l’innovation et la recherche, droit du marché de l’art, droit de la consommation, droit des robots, cybercriminalité, etc.

 

C2N : Centre de Nanosciences et de Nanotechnologies

The Centre de nanosciences et de nanotechnologies - C2N (CNRS/Université Paris-Sud - Université Paris-Saclay), was created on June 1, 2016 by bringing together two leading Parisian laboratories in their field: the Laboratoire de photonique et de nanostructures (CNRS) and the Institut d'électronique fondamentale (CNRS/Université Paris-Sud).

 

LAL : Laboratoire de l’Accélérateur Linéaire

The Linear Accelerator Laboratory (LAL) is a joint unit of the IN2P3 of the CNRS and the University of Paris-Sud (UMR 8607). The LAL's research activity focuses on particle physics, complemented by a strong component in cosmology and astrophysics.

The research topics covered at the LMO cover a very wide range of topics, from the most fundamental to the most applied mathematics. The researchers are divided into 5 research teams: Harmonic Analysis, Numerical Analysis and Partial Derivative Equations, Arithmetic and Algebraic Geometry, Probability and Statistics, Topology, Geometry and Dynamics.

 

LRI : Laboratoire de Recherche en Informatique
