Their aim of this workshops series is to act as a forum for researchers and private R&D to share ideas on Federated Learning (FL) and Privacy-Preserving Machine Learning (PPML).
The Federated Learning Workshop will be split into 2 events:
- The Federated Learning Winter School, Tuesday, November 24, 2020, 3:00 PM-5:30 PM CET
- The Federated Learning Colloquium, March 9, 2021
Registration is now open for the Federated Learning Winter School, and we are thrilled to invite you to participate in this first event!
FEDERATED LEARNING WINTER SCHOOL
The winter school will be fully live-streamed and focus on the basics of FL and PPML. Two well-known researchers will give an introduction to help interested people get started in these topics:
- Aurélien Bellet (Inria) will present a talk entitles «Introduction to federate learning»
- Catuscia Palamidessi (Inria) will give a talk on «A new mechanism for distributed differential privacy»
