🇨🇦 Joint Canada-France call for proposals on AI
Canada's three federal research funding agencies, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), in collaboration with IVADO, are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of a joint Canada-France call for research proposals on artificial intelligence (AI).
Canada's granting agencies are joining forces with France's Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) to support multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research projects in the fields of generative AI and integrated AI safety.
The aim of this joint call is to fund innovative binational projects that clearly stand out from current national projects, demonstrating strong synergy between the teams in each country and real integration of joint work.
DATAIA Institute is a partner of IVADO, one of the funders on the Canadian side, and will be able to facilitate the identification of the IP and/or team on the Canadian side. Please keep us informed of your submission!
