The AI Summer School, organized by CentraleSupélec, combines lectures, tutorials and hands-on sessions in areas such as machine learning, deep and reinforcement learning, computer vision and network learning. The program also includes team competitions, as well as networking opportunities with professionals from research and innovative industry.

Python and programming skills are required for the program. If you are not familiar with Python, you will need to learn the basics before the summer school begins. In order to prove their Python skills, students will be required to provide a previously completed project in the registration section that demonstrates their programming skills.

Objectives of the course

The AI Summer School aims to introduce students to the field of artificial intelligence and allow them to acquire many key skills :

• by covering a wide range of related topics, methodologies, and applications;
• giving students the opportunity to gain practical experience in dealing with real-world problems;
• organizing educational visits to companies and institutions where fundamental research on artificial intelligence is taking place ;
• a good understanding of the main topics and methodologies of machine learning and artificial intelligence in general, including deep learning, computer vision, reinforcement ;
• learning, natural language processing, and network analysis;
• strengthen their programming skills in Python by implementing and evaluating various machine learning algorithms and working on a real-world data challenge.
