The 2nd Inria-DFKI European AI Summer School (IDESSAI 2022) is part of the annual summer school series organized by the two renowned German and French AI institutes, DFKI and Inria.

From August 29 to September 2, 2022, IDESSAI 2022 is held in Saarbrücken, Germany. It differs from all offerings for AI students in several ways:

• Good balance between the number of participants and instructors: participants will have the opportunity to join a community of like-minded people and they will have the chance to connect with the experts ;
• The program offers a series of courses focused on two themes: trusted AI and sustainable AI, which are at the forefront of socio-economic issues related to AI ;
• In addition to the latest methodological advances and the shared vision of the future that the two organizing institutes have to offer, IDESSAI 2022 will be practically oriented ;
• Participants will have the opportunity to present their work in dedicated poster and demonstration sessions.
