Finnish Center for Artificial Intelligence (FCAI)
FCAI is a community of experts that brings together top talents in academia, industry and the public sector to solve real-life problems using both existing and novel AI. Founded by Aalto University, University of Helsinki and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, FCAI is one of the Academy of Finland Finnish flagships, hubs of top-level research with important impact.
The DATAIA Institute and the Finnish Center for Artificial Intelligence (FCAI) have launched a partnership aimed at fostering joint AI initiatives between the two countries.
Cooperation will initially concentrate on two major fields in artificial intelligence: AI and neuroscience, and machine learning and signal processing.
As members of the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS), Europe’s scientific AI network, both institutes seek to strengthen joint academic initiatives between France and Finland, by supporting visiting professor programmes and student exchanges alongside other actions.
